ISLAMABAD:In connection with Youm-e-Istehsal to be observed Wednesday (Tomorrow), the government has unveiled a special post stamp to emphasize the condition of the Indian Illegally Occupied, Kashmir and Jammu (IIOJ&K), following the government’s decisions of 5 August 2019.
Last year, the Bharatiya Janata Party of India (BJP), ruling Kashmiris, had for seven decades by hurried presidential order, under its constitution. The move resulted in an indefinite lock-down of security on kashmiri leaders’ occupied territory and detention.
“The purpose of issuing a Pakistan Post commemorative stamp is to reveal in (IIOJ&k) the illegal activities of Hitler’s Indian PM, Narendra Modi,”
At the opening ceremony on Monday, Murad Saeed, Minister for Communications and Postal Services, told reporters of a stamp .. He was followed by Minister for Information Shibli Faraz.
The Minister of Communications said a year of the state’s military siege was completed on 5 August and not only would the postal mark emphasize the indian attacks on the kashmiris, but also show Pakistanis’ love for them.
As a member of the Universal Postal Union, the Pakistan Post said the stamp would spread to every part of the world and make people aware of the seriousness of the situation of IIOJ & K.
Murad said that Prime Minister Imran Khan warned the world that the Hindutva ideology threatens not only the kashmiris, but also minority communities in India.
He said that the prime minister, in his address to the General Assembly of the United Nations, addressed the kashmir case in “an unparalleled way.”
