Members of the Jahangir Tareen group who met the Prime Minister have claimed that Imran Khan has agreed to remove Shehzad Akbar.

Members of the National and Provincial Assemblies of the Jahangir Tareen Group called on the Prime Minister.

On this occasion, a demand was made to separate Shehzad Akbar from Jahangir Tareen’s cases and form a Judicial Commission.

The Prime Minister rejected the demand of the Judicial Commission of the supporters of the Tareen group but asked for time on other issues.

According to sources, the visitors of the Jahangir Tareen group have claimed that the Prime Minister agreed to remove Shehzad Akbar and said that he would now look into the matter himself.

Raja Riaz had told the media that the Prime Minister had guaranteed that no one would be abused.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister refused to accept any pressure on the ongoing investigation on the Sugar Commission.

In a meeting with the Jahangir Tareen group, he said that if any responsible person, including Jahangir Tareen, turns out to be accountable, he will face action according to law.

Imran Khan said in clear words that if anyone thinks that I will come under pressure and stop the investigation, then he is making a big mistake.

The Prime Minister said that all mill owners, including Jahangir Tareen, should pursue their cases in FIA.

Earlier, critical members of the Jahangir Tareen group had claimed that the Prime Minister had complied with all our demands.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry had responded that the Prime Minister had made it clear to the supporters of Jahangir Tareen that the FIA would not be stopped from investigating.

He said that a party based on justice could not demand separate justice for itself and others.

Fawad Chaudhry further said that the party’s people have to do the same as other people who have faced the trial.
