Umer Akmal suspension has been decreased

Pakistani batsman Umer Akmal’s suspension has been decreased from 3 years to 1.5 years by an independent adjudicator retired Supreme Court judge , Faqir Muhammad Khokhar.
The 30 years old batsman was banned for 3 years for violating the Pakistan cricket board (PCB) anti-corruption code.
Akmal was also not allowed to participate in Pakistan super league of 2020 after allegations appeared on the eve of opening game . He was former member of Quetta Gladiators.
Akmal later found guilty for his act and appeal for the reduction of ban. And now the ban has been reduced from 3 years to 1.5 years.
He would be eligible to play cricket freely in 2021.
