In the third wave of covid-19, the number of cases in different parts of the country is increasing, there is the possibility of a complete lockdown in Ramadan.
The third wave of Covid is gaining momentum with each passing day. The government has taken action and sealed five sub-sectors of Islamabad. The fifteen-day smart lockdown has been implemented in Punjab. New SOPs have been issued for seven districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Commercial activities and parks in Punjab, including Islamabad, will remain completely closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Covid has taken third gear and the number of cases has started increasing again.
The government is also gearing up for action. Section 144 has once again been enforced in Islamabad and the use of masks in public and other places has been made mandatory due to increasing cases of covid. Islamabad Sector F-11 has been sealed. Sector G-6/2, G-10/4 are also included in the restricted areas. Smart Lockdown has been implemented in 16 areas of Lahore city. All indoor gatherings are also banned in Punjab. Outdoor gatherings of 300 people will not be allowed for more than two hours while parks will be closed at 6 pm. Markets will remain open until 6 pm. All markets will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Grocery stores, medical stores, fruit and vegetable, and dairy shops will be exempted. New SOPs have been issued for seven districts.
