Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has offered U.S. to hand him over security affairs of Kabul- Hamid Karzai- Airport after the withdrawal of U.S. led NATO forces from Afghanistan.
In a recent statement the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has claimed that Turkey would be the “only reliable” country help in stabilization of Afghanistan after the US pulls out its troops.
His remarks comes days after the Taliban’s announcement that all countries present as part of NATO allied in Afghanistan must exit based on the peace deal signed between the U.S. and insurgent group.
Erdogan also said he would discuss the issue in his first face-to-face meeting with US President Joe Biden on the margins of a NATO summit in Brussels on Monday, after strained relations between their two countries.
