ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan gave direction to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani has been tasked to develop a state-of-the-art stadium in the country’s capital, Islamabad. According to information, attempts are being made around the world to revitalize Pakistan’s identity, and the government has set specific goals to accomplish their aim, including the construction of the country’s biggest stadium in Islamabad. The stadium will also house a high-performance center and host a variety of international and local tournaments and matches.

Mani, the chairman of the PCB, will work with Amir Ali Ahmed, the chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), to complete the required task. The CDA’s director of land, planning, and development conducted a survey to find the best location for the venue. Next month, the Prime Minister will be given an update on the project’s progress. Following approval to proceed, the project will be completed through a public-private partnership. Nadeem Khan, the director of the PCB’s national high-performance center, stated that the project is moving along quickly.
