The national pointer of the Covid-19 pandemic shows a slight increase during the last 24 hours, as the ratio of positive case countrywide return to 2% as it fell from it in earlier days; according to National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
In its daily update, the NCOC, the country’s main hub in the fight against the global pandemic, stated that 43,578 tests were conducted across the country, with 1,021 persons testing positive for the infectious disease. The nationwide Covid positive ratio for the previous 24 hours was 2.34 percent, as per the report.
According to the organization, there are 2,257 Covid patients in critical condition being treated at various Covid-dedicated healthcare institutions around the country. It further stated that 21 individuals have died as a result of the lethal illness in the last 24 hours.
