Chairman International Human Rights Commission Ambassador Dr. Muhmmad Shahid Amin Khan called on by President Youth Council Pakistan Muhammad Shehzad khan to the YCP President Office Islamabad.
President YCP Muhammad Shehzad Khan along with Mr. Assad Khan Secretary of Research and Mr. Arsalan Khan Director of Finance YCP were present in the meeting. IHRC & YCP agreed to work on various shared goals, including human rights, the green agenda, peace, and regional stability.
Youth Council Pakistan is a central actor in Pakistan for Youth, and Ambassador Shahid strongly encouraged YCP to help the Youth of Pakistan in connecting them with international communities.
Chairman IHRC urged President YCP to bring some fruitful activities to facilitate the Youth of Afghanistan because the Youth of Afghanistan will be the peace ambassadors and change-makers in Afghanistan that will lead the region into peace and stability. Both the leaders agreed to strengthen the cooperation of IHRC & YCP in areas such as climate change, green transition, and Youth Empowerment, and human rights initiatives. To support this work, Chairman IHRC announced his complete support to YCP.
IHRC & YCP will jointly organize an International Human Rights Conference in December in Pakistan, where world leaders will be invited to Pakistan. The conference will highlight the human rights issues, acknowledge the efforts of world leaders for human rights, diplomats, youth, women, and civil society.
In conclusion, President Youth Council Pakistan Muhammad Shehzad Khan thanked Ambassador Shahid for his visit to President’s Office. He also assured full support of YCP with IHRC for future initiatives and projects.
