Pakistan and Oman aim to start a ferry service to enhance trade and tourism between the two countries.
Oman’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Omar Ahmed Al-Marhoon, met with Pakistani Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations, trade, and tourism, according to sources.

The potential of reinstating sea routes and creating a ferry service was also discussed during the meeting.

The Interior Minister informed the Omani ambassador that Pakistan is willing to reduce visa requirements for Omanis traveling to Pakistan for trade and tourism.

Pakistan-Oman relations are based on Islamic brotherhood and mutual trust. Pakistan is prepared to relax visa requirements for Oman citizens traveling to Pakistan for trade or tourism.

He assured Omani nationals interested in trade and tourism that all possible facilities would be made available to them.
The Omani envoy expressed confidence that the ferry service between the two countries would begin soon
