ISLAMABAD: The popular Middle Eastern fast food chain “Salt” has announced plans to expand into Pakistan, bringing its signature high-quality food to the South Asian market “soon.” Founded in 2005 and based in Qatar, Salt is known for its specialty wagyu beef burgers, crafted from the premium Wagyu cattle breed native to Japan. The chain already has established branches in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, the UK, and Hungary.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Salt posted an image with the caption “coming soon,” adding, “Time to pass the salt, Pakistan! SALT is coming in hot with all the good vibes and flavors to satisfy your cravings.” However, the brand has yet to disclose which Pakistani cities it will enter.
Salt’s menu includes a diverse selection of beef sliders such as brisket, truffle, signature, hook, and original sliders, as well as chicken sliders in flavors like Cheetos, pine chicken, and crispy chicken.
International fast-food chains have proven highly popular in Pakistan, with long-standing brands like McDonald’s, KFC, and Hardees successfully operating across multiple cities.
