Senior analyst Nusrat Javed recently shared that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan may be taken into “military custody” in the coming days.
Javed stated, “I am informing you that those for whom Justice Qazi Faiz Isa is being disrespected will soon be taken into military custody.” He also claimed that PTI supporters are targeting not just Justice Isa but the entire judiciary, alleging that they aim to humiliate any judge who rules against them.
During the interview, Javed highlighted that a message has been clearly conveyed to the judiciary, adding, “Look at the treatment of Justice Qazi Faiz Isa — from viral videos to public harassment.” He questioned PTI supporters, asking why they don’t challenge former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar in a similar way, noting Nisar’s continued presence in Lahore and the perceived lack of accountability during his tenure.
Earlier, a group of PTI supporters gathered near Middle Temple in London, where former CJP Qazi Faez Isa was reportedly harassed by protesters, including PTI leaders such as Sayed Zulfi Bukhari, Sahibzada Jahangir, and former MNA Maleeka Bokhari.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the incident, stating that the vehicles of Justice Isa and the Pakistan High Commissioner in London were attacked. Naqvi instructed the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to identify those involved, with plans to take legal action, potentially leading to revocation of citizenship for those responsible.
