Bushra Bibi Urges PTI Supporters to Continue Islamabad March Until Imran Khan’s Release
Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has called on party supporters to persist with their march towards Islamabad until the former prime minister is released from Adiala Jail.
PTI supporters are marching towards the federal capital, rallying at D-Chowk as part of their leader Imran Khan’s call to press for his release and address other party demands. Bushra Bibi joined the protest to bolster the morale of the participants, addressing them near the Hazara Interchange to encourage their efforts.
Speaking to the crowd, she asserted, “This march will not end until Khan is among us. I will stand firm until my last breath. You must stand with me, and even if you don’t, I will continue because this is not just about my husband; it is about this country and its leader.” She also expressed confidence in the unwavering support of the Pashtun people, calling them a proud nation that stands firm until the end.
Concluding her address from atop a container, Bushra Bibi led a slogan to energize the crowd. Later, she greeted workers at a rest house near the Hazara Interchange, responding to their chants with a wave.
The PTI convoys, originating from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and now advancing through Punjab, aim to reach Islamabad despite delays caused by government-placed shipping containers blocking key entry and exit points across the region. The protest, initially planned for Sunday, November 24, has faced logistical challenges but continues to gain momentum.
