Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shehzad, who has been vocal on social media despite being away from the cricket field, has proposed an unconventional idea for hosting Pakistan-India cricket matches.

In a video shared on his YouTube channel, the 33-year-old suggested building a cricket stadium on the border between the two nations. He humorously explained, “The stadium could have one gate in India and the other in Pakistan, allowing players from each team to enter through their respective doors.”

Shehzad also remarked that the recently confirmed hybrid model for the Champions Trophy 2025 has diminished the chances of India visiting Pakistan for cricket matches anytime soon. He said, “With this decision, it’s safe to say the Indian team won’t be coming to Pakistan. The ICC has stuck to the agreement allowing all cricket boards to host the Champions Trophy 2025 as planned.”

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has indeed resolved the longstanding dispute over the 2025 Champions Trophy. As per the arrangement, India’s matches in the tournament will be held at neutral venues, and in exchange, ICC events hosted by India will also feature matches played at neutral locations.
