The ICC Champions Trophy 2025, marking its ninth edition, will span 19 days and feature 15 matches across Pakistan and Dubai. The tournament is set to begin on 19 February in Karachi, with the final scheduled for 9 March.
Pakistan will host matches in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, with each venue staging three group games. Lahore is set to host the second semi-final and the final. However, if India qualifies for the final, it will be played in Dubai. Both semi-finals and the final include reserve days. Dubai will host three group matches involving India and the first semi-final.
The tournament opener on 19 February in Karachi will see Pakistan face New Zealand in Group A. The Dubai leg begins the next day with India taking on Bangladesh. Group B action starts on 21 February with Afghanistan playing South Africa in Karachi.
A thrilling weekend awaits as England faces Australia in Lahore on 22 February, followed by the much-anticipated Pakistan-India clash on 23 February.
The eight teams competing in the tournament are the top eight finishers from the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Group A consists of hosts Pakistan, defending Champions Trophy holders, alongside India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. Group B features World Cup 2023 champions Australia, Afghanistan, England, and South Africa.
