The PCB confirms that the alleged bucky has contacted a player during the ongoing National T20 Cup in Rawalpindi. Case Handed over to FIA.
Director PCB Anti-Corruption and Security Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Asif Mehmood said that he appreciated the player’s action. Thanks to the player for reporting the alleged contact attempt.
Lt. Col. (retd) Asif Mehmood said that this is a clear example of regular lectures given to the players on anti-corruption.
Then the players are fully aware of their responsibilities under this code. It is also an encouraging move as the cricketers ‘attitude reflects the players’ confidence in the PCB’s anti-corruption unit.
