At the commencement of the third phase of the limited Umrah program, all the doors of Masjid-ul-Haram were opened.
According to Fahd Al-Jaeed, director of gates at the shrine administration, more than 100 gates of the shrine were opened for visitors during the first and second phases of the Umrah program. Director Fahad Al-Jaeed said that personnel is on duty at the gates 24 hours a day; 19 gates have been allotted for the worshipers. Only those who have a prayer permit will be able to enter through these doors.
Director Fahd Al-Jaeed said that 13 gates have been allotted for Umrah pilgrims, including Malik Fahd, Ajiad, Al-Safa, and Marwa. When Umrah pilgrims enter the Haram Sharif, keep in mind their names and numbers. This will make it easier for them to get out of Haram Sharif. However, those who come for Umrah or prayers are not allowed to carry food and sharp objects in the Haram.
