Covid wars continue in different parts of the country, with the Covid-19, 82 more people passed in one day, 10,258 patients losing their lives so far, and 2,184 new cases coming to light, bringing the total toll of cases Exceeded to 84 lacs.
In the last 24 hours, 43 deaths were reported in Punjab and 22 in Sindh, 12 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two in Islamabad and Azad Kashmir, and one in Balochistan.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, 38,229 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, in which 2,184 people were diagnosed with covid, bringing the total number of cases nationwide to 484,362.
Sindh ranks first with 216,632 affected people, followed by Punjab with 139,341, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 59,023, Islamabad with 38,020, Balochistan with 18,181, Gilgit-Baltistan with 4,862, and Azad Kashmir with the highest number of Covid patients.
The number of active cases has increased to 35,130.
4,38,974 patients have defeated Covid. 2,745 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals while 301 patients are on ventilators.
