The Students Parents Association has opposed the reopening of schools from 18 January
The government has announced the opening of educational institutions across the country in phases from 18 January, but opposed the decision with an organization of private schools and announced the opening of educational institutions from 11 January.

Yesterday, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood and Special Assistant for Health Dr. Faisal Sultan told a press conference in Islamabad that it has been decided to open educational institutions across the country in three phases.
Federal Minister Shafqat Mehmood said that the ninth, tenth, and eleventh-grade educational institutions will be opened on 18 January. Classes from primary to eighth will start on 25 January, and now the Students Parents Association has opposed the opening of the school. Chairman Nadeem Mirza has demanded that the schools be reopened from 1st April. Nadeem Mirza says schools are being reopened soon just to collect fees.
It may be recalled that after consultation on the proposals by the federal government in its meeting held on 4 January, it was decided to open schools from class IX to class XII from 18 January. The Federal Minister for Education said that last year all over the world including Pakistan changed, 2020 was a difficult year for the world, educational institutions, offices, industries, and markets were closed, due to Covid had to go online system instead of school attendance. Many loved ones have also left us because of Covid, but despite all the difficulties, work is underway on a uniform curriculum.
He said that despite Covid, all the staff continued to work for a uniform curriculum, uniform curriculum would be a positive step for the whole country, so we are trying to make a uniform curriculum model.
