An airstrike by Houthi militias on the Saudi capital, Riyadh, was foiled on Saturday.
On the other hand, Arab media quoted Saudi coalition forces as saying that the Saudi air force had thwarted an attempt by the Houthis to target Riyadh.
The U.S. news agency quoted Saudi state television as saying that authorities had confirmed the attack.
However, The Houthi rebels did not immediately acknowledge the attack on Riyadh.
