Occupied Kashmir will celebrate Indian Republic Day tomorrow as a black day and on this occasion. There will be a complete strike in the occupied valley.
According to Kashmir Media Service, All Party Hurriyat Conference and Hurriyat organizations have called for a strike. Hurriyat leaders have also appealed to Kashmiris to hoist black flags on houses and shops.
On the other hand, Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that Indian forces were constantly pursuing a policy of repression and pressure on Kashmiris.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that innocent citizens are arrested by harassing them on false charges.
He also said that the plight of Kashmiris in Indian jails was deplorable.
