In India, farmers went on hunger strike to protest against the Modi government’s agricultural laws. While the government also suspended internet services in areas around Delhi.

According to media reports, farmers are on a one-day hunger strike today after a week-long clash with police.

The Indian Home Ministry has suspended internet services in three border areas of Delhi till 11 pm on Sunday due to law and order situation.

One person was killed and hundreds injured in a week of clashes. However, farmers protesting outside the Modi government’s agricultural laws outside Delhi for more than two months.

Eleven rounds of talks between farmer leaders and the government to resolve the issue have failed.
