The United States has said in a statement that it would be “premature” to accept Iran’s offer to resume a nuclear deal.
State Department spokesman Edward Price said the United States would do the same if Iran returned to complying with the nuclear deal.
Edward price added that allies, partners, and Congress would be consulted before reaching a point of direct talks and acceptance of Tehran’s proposal.
It should be noted that Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif had said that Iran would respond immediately if the United States returned to the nuclear deal.
The European Union (EU) has stepped up efforts to bring the two sides to a nuclear deal.
