On the last day of his historic visit to Iraq, Pope Francis visited the city of Mosul and attended a prayer service for war victims.
At a ceremony outside Mosul’s ancient church, Pope Francis prayed for war victims.
He called on the Christian community in Iraq and the Middle East not to leave their homeland.
Pope Francis also flew the dove into the prayer service.
It should be noted that Pope Francis arrived in Iraq on a historic visit on Friday.
