Free treatment for Afghan girl on Punjab CM’s directive.
Nazia Ahmed from Afghanistan was suffering from Thoracic Syndrome. She approached by her family for treatment at the Indian Ministry of Health. WHO demanded Rs 3.5 million for her treatment.
When Nazia Ahmed’s family contacted the Punjab government for treatment, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar directed for free treatment of the girl. After which a free and successful operation was performed on her at Services Hospital Lahore.
Nazia Ahmed and her family are very grateful to the Punjab government. Before leaving for Afghanistan, Nazia Ahmed prepared a sketch with her own hands to pay homage to the Punjab Chief Minister for her kindness. In the sketch, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar can be seen holding hands.
By paying homage to her Messiah, Nazia Ahmed showed the world that the Chief Minister of Punjab is also winning the hearts of the people with his governance. Nazia Ahmed also thanked Thoracic Surgery Ward of Services Hospital and the Punjab Government in the sketch.
