Kabul: A bomb blast in the Afghan capital has killed three people, including former TV anchor Emma Sewash.

According to the International News Agency, a car bomb had exploded in the capital, Kabul, killing three people, including Emma Sewash, a former anchor for the Afghan TV channel Tolo, who was in the car.

Police said bo0mb blast was caused by a landmine that exploded just as a Central Bank vehicle passed. The three occupants of the car were bank employees. Anchore Emma Sivash also recently got a job in a bank.

Central Bank Media Coordinator Ismatullah Kohsar said Deputy Manager Operations Ahmadullah Anas and driver Amin were also killed in the blast. The bank car was used to transport these employees to and from the office. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. But violence has escalated since last month. A few days ago, 25 students were killed, and more than 100 were injured in an attack on Kabul University.  ISIS claimed responsibility.
