After the T20 World Cup, the ICC announced the team of the tournament, Babar Azam has been named captain while the 12-member team does not include any Indian player.
The World Cup ended yesterday with a victory for Australia, after which the ICC formed a team of the tournament after the end of the event in which Pakistan captain Babar Azam was named captain.
The team consists of 3 Australians, 2 England, 2 Pakistanis, 2 Sri Lankans, 2 South Africans, and 1 New Zealand player while no Indian player has been able to make a place in this team.

The ICC Team of the Tournament includes Babar Azam Captain, David Warner, Jose Butler, Charith Asalanka, Markram, Moin Ali, Vinod Hasaranga, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazelwood, Trent Bolt, Nortji, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
For the first time, no Indian player has been included in a team formed after an ICC event.
Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan could not be a part of the squad as openers Josh Butler, David Warner and Babar Azam joined the squad as openers. Mohammad Rizwan could not make the list.
It should be noted that the team was selected by a five-member ICC panel and the Indian team could not even qualify for the semi-finals, it was defeated by Pakistan and New Zealand.
