Thousands of homes were gutted in a massive fire at a Rohingya Muslim refugee camp in Bangladesh.
According to the UN refugee agency, a fire in a Rohingya refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar destroyed thousands of homes, health centers, and other facilities.
Firefighters and rescue workers took part to put out the blaze and prevent it from spreading as refugee camp residents’ evacuation continued.
Residents of the camp have expressed fears of casualties from the fire. Authorities have not confirmed any casualties.
