A blast in Dhaka has killed seven people and injured more than 50.
According to a foreign news agency, a blast on the first floor of a three-story building in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka has killed at least seven people and injured more than 50. Security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and rescue workers shift the injured to the hospital where several injured are said to be critical.
Emergency has been declared in the hospitals after the blast. The intensity of the blast was so high that the surrounding buildings were also severely damaged. However, the cause of the blast has not been revealed yet and investigations are underway.
