19 Convicts Involved in May 9 Riots Granted Pardon: ISPR

The ISPR statement revealed that these 19 convicts had submitted pleas for mercy during their sentence and, after exercising their legal right to request leniency, their petitions were approved. These individuals were part of the total 67 people involved in the riots who filed petitions for clemency. Out of these, 48 petitions were forwarded to the Courts of Appeal for further review.
