Chaman: The Pak-Afghan border, which was closed after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan’s border district of Spin Boldak, has been temporarily reopened.
Levies sources said that the main district of Afghanistan, Spin Boldak, which is adjacent to Chaman, is under the control of the Taliban for the fifth day, due to which all commercial activities on the Pak-Afghan border are suspended for the fifth day.
Levies officials say the Chaman border has been temporarily opened to pedestrians for the return of Afghans stranded in Pakistan. The Bab Dosti Gate will be open from 8 to 10 in the morning and from 4 to 6 in the evening. So far, thousands of Afghans have taken advantage of this facility to enter their homeland.
