The final schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is expected to be officially announced on Tuesday.

According to reports, all matters between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have been resolved, with agreements now in the final stages. Both boards have assured the ICC of their cooperation, and the announcement is anticipated later today.

The tournament will be held under a hybrid model. If India does not qualify for the semi-finals or the final, all matches will be played in Pakistan. However, if India reaches the semi-finals or the final, one semi-final and the final will be shifted to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Reports also indicate that the high-profile Pakistan-India match will take place in Dubai, with the Indian team playing all three of its group-stage matches at the same venue.

The hybrid model has already received approval during an informal ICC meeting, with Pakistan and India reaching an agreement in principle. If this arrangement is finalized, Pakistan is also likely to host the ICC Women’s Tournament after 2027. Additionally, the knockout match venues for the 2026 T20 World Cup will be decided at a later stage.

While there were earlier delays due to a holiday, sources suggest that a formal decision and announcement regarding the Champions Trophy are imminent. The ICC is expected to confirm the schedule and details via a press release within the next 24 hours.

Furthermore, discussions about a fusion hosting formula for matches involving venues like Dubai, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh are ongoing. Sources indicate that while compensation was offered to Pakistan for potential match transfers, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi refrained from pursuing additional compensation.

Negotiations between the PCB and BCCI have finalized most issues, and an official announcement is expected soon following stakeholder approvals.
