China says it is ready for friendly relations with the Taliban in Afghanistan.
A statement issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that China respects the right of the Afghan people to determine their own destiny.
China further said that it wants to continue promoting friendly, mutual cooperation with Afghanistan.
It should be noted that the Taliban also took control of the Afghan capital yesterday. On Sunday morning, the Taliban entered Kabul and Jalalabad without any resistance, after which Afghan President Ashraf Ghani also fled the country.
On this occasion, senior Taliban leader Mullah Baradar said that this victory was achieved with the help of Allah, it has never happened in the history of the world.
Mullah Baradar said in his video message that he has reached a place he never expected, now is the time of trial, we will serve our nation.
