India reports highest COVID-19 fatalities since July as states update tallies

During the fourth wave of the COVID-19 virus, the ratio of positive cases fall down from 2.14% to 1.88% during the last 24 hours, the contamination of the fourth wave is happening to slow down.
According to figures provided on Sunday by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 40,584 tests were conducted in the previous 24 hours, with 767 positive cases and 19 deaths reported.
Furthermore, the Covid-19 positive ratio was 1.88 percent, with about 2,540 persons in serious condition, according to the authorities.
Despite the decrease in the ratio, the government has asked the public to continue to follow normal operating standards to break the virus’s chain and protect the public’s safety.
Experts have also emphasized the need of wearing masks even if everyone is vaccinated.
According to NCOC data, 89,719,686 doses of the coronavirus vaccination have been provided to patients thus far.
