The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) says a player in the national squad for the tour of South Africa has tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to the PCB, corona tests were conducted on 35 members of the national squad for the tour of South Africa. Those whose corona test report is negative will arrive in Lahore on Thursday.

The training camp of the national squad will start from Friday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, while the second test of the cricketer who tested positive in the Corona Test will now be held on Thursday.

PCB says that in case of a negative test, the player will be allowed to come to Lahore, after 2 days of isolation, the third test will be held.

According to the board, 34 members of the negative squad will report in Lahore tomorrow. The PCB has announced the schedule of the Pakistan cricket team’s training camp. There will also be intra-squad matches in the training camp.
