Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza was attacked with a knife during a weekly lecture
Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza was injured in the assassination attempt. According to police, Muhammad Ali Mirza was attacked with a knife which left a minor wound on his arm. The attacker was identified as Shehzad Ali, a resident of Lahore. The incident of attack on Ali Mirza took place yesterday and a case has been registered against him. Police have also arrested two accused.
Police further said that Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza was attacked while he was giving a weekly lecture. It should be noted that in May 2020, Jhelum police arrested Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza for spreading religious hatred and incitement against various scholars. He was arrested on the charge and a case was registered but the court granted bail to the accused. According to City Police Station, Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza was spreading religious provocation against various religious scholars.
City police had registered a case in their complaint on Tuesday and transferred the accused to jail. The lawyer of Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza had filed a bail application in the Civil Court on the same day where the Civil Court on Wednesday granted bail to the engineer in exchange for Rs 50,000. Mohammad Ali Mirza’s bail application was granted and he was released. Later, Engineer Mohammad Ali Mirza told the truth about the clip that led to his arrest.
He said on his YouTube channel yesterday after his release that the clip-on which the FIR was registered against him was part of a three-year-old video that was presented out of context. In it, he described the legal status of Peri-Muri di with full facts and concerning the hadiths. But the zealots were shocked to have more than one million subscribers to his YouTube channel and a satellite TV channel. Mohammad Ali Mirza said that we pray behind these people and donate to them.
