Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry’s reaction came to light on the issue of expelling a girl boy from a private university in Lahore for openly proposing to him.
The federal minister has appealed to the university administration to reconsider the decision.

Fawad Chaudhry in his recent social media message said that voluntary marriage is the basic right of every girl, the rights that Islam gives to women, voluntary marriage is central to these rights.
He said that the university administration should reconsider its decision, considering girls as the property is against Islam.
It may be recalled that in the last few days, it had become costly for a girl and a boy to openly propose to each other at a private university in Lahore. When the video went viral, the administration expelled them from the university.
