According to details, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood in his message on the microblogging website Twitter said that children are safe at home.
He said that educational institutions would be opened as soon as the situation improves. Shafqat Mehmood said in a Twitter message that children have a deep connection with education. In any case opening premature educational institutions will not endanger the lives of children.
On the other hand, the government’s decision to close an educational institution is being appreciated because of the increase in cases of the deadly virus during the second wave of the covid epidemic in the country.
The decision of Private Schools
It may be recalled that the Private Schools Association had announced the opening of educational institutions across the country from 11 January. An emergency meeting of the Private Schools Association was held yesterday. In which the officials agreed that schools across the country would be reopened from 11 January. In this regard, whether the government announces anything or not. The private educational institutions will reopen on 11 January. However, the strategy in this regard will be decided later.
It should be noted that because of the deteriorating situation in Covid, the closure of educational institutions across the country was announced. It was decided in the meeting by the Federal Ministry of Education that there would be winter holidays from 25 December to 10 January and children would not come to the educational institutions. In addition, the children would continue their education at home.
On 11 January, all educational institutions reopened. Shafqat Mehmood had further said that home learning would continue from 26 November to 24 December. From 26 November, online classes can be taken from all educational institutions in Pakistan. Schools, colleges, universities, tuition centers will all be closed.
