FIFA has suspended the membership of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).
Pakistan has been suspended for external interference in PFF affairs. FIFA’s membership will remain suspended until the Pakistan Football Federation normalizes the committee’s powers.
Earlier, FIFA had warned that if the illegal occupation of the headquarters of the Pakistan Football Federation did not end and FIFA-recognized PFF members were not allowed access to the building and carrying out its mandate, the Pakistan football federation will be suspended.
FIFA had said that as a result of the suspension of the federation, the Pakistan Football Federation would immediately lose all membership rights enshrined in Article 13 of the FIFA rules and would remain suspended until further notice. Or any club team will lose the right to participate in any international competition, PFF and its members to benefit from FIFA’s financial and development programs.
