In a brief message shared on her Instagram channel, she reportedly wrote, “Jab tak video viral hai mein ne id off kar di hai,” which translates to, “I have deactivated my accounts for as long as the video is circulating.”

Just last month, several videos surfaced that allegedly showed Minahil in a private moment with influencer Rana Sharyar, leading to public backlash. The resulting wave of criticism and online harassment compelled Minahil to take an indefinite hiatus from social media.
Before stepping away, Minahil shared an emotional video statement addressing the severe harassment and cyberbullying she faced. She further expressed her despair in an Instagram story, writing, “I am feeling very tired. I have taken this decision after a lot of thought. You all have given me a lot of support and love, but this world doesn’t let anyone live peacefully. The world is very cruel. I hope I never see you all again. I am feeling very helpless. Minahil is dead inside.”
