The FreedomGate Pakistan with the support of Friedrich Naumann Foundation two-day Journalism Entrepreneurship Training concludes.
The main purpose of this training was to train young journalists on how they can earn money from digital media.
FreedomGate Pakistan conducted Two days Workshop on Journalism Entrepreneurship and Freedom of Expression was conducted for journalists and social media activists across the country. The aim of the workshop was for the participants should know the methods and tools for how they can generate income and at the same time enjoy their freedom of expression. Urooj Raza Sayyami, Alumni FNF – International Academy for Leadership (IAF) was the Moderator and Trainer of the workshop. Majid Bukhari shared the tools and plate forms where participants were able to work and how can they earn money. Uzma Kardar MPA Punjab Assembly talked about the role of parliamentarians for lawmaking for freedom of expression and challenges. Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar, former Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan addressed the participants and told them freedom of expression is oxygen for Freedom. Later on, Justice Khokhar distributed among the participants. More than 20 young journalists from across the country were selected for the training, Including Hamza Rehman, Sehrish Khan, Ayesha, Remshay Ahmed, Sherzaman, Sameera, and Nouman Khan from Pak Affairs participated in the training workshop.
Muhammad Anwar, Head of Programs and Administration was coordinating the workshop and he thanks the Trainers and guests and appreciated the contribution of the participants.
