Local gold prices continued to break records on Tuesday as prices of one tola and 10 grams rose by Rs 3,900 and Rs 3,344 respectively to touch a high of Rs 178,800 and Rs 153,292.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association (ASSJA), the price of gold rose by $12 to $1,808 in the international market.
Since January 1, the price of gold per tola has increased by Rs 52,800 and Rs 45,096 per 10 grams from Rs 126,200 and Rs 108,196 respectively.
