What to Expect

The international version of the facelifted Sonata has already turned heads with its bold styling and advanced features. While Hyundai Nishat Motors has not disclosed the exact specifications for the Pakistani market, the international model provides a glimpse of what buyers can anticipate.

  • Exterior Design Changes:

These updates aim to give the Sonata a fresh and futuristic appeal.
  • Interior Upgrades:
Inside, the Sonata facelift emphasizes both comfort and technology. Key features include a panoramic curved display that merges the digital instrument cluster with the infotainment system, offering a seamless driver experience. Premium materials and an intuitive layout enhance the cabin’s luxury feel.
  • Powertrain Options and Torque:
Globally, the facelifted Sonata is available with several engine options:
    • A 2.0-liter engine producing 160 horsepower and 192 Nm of torque.
    • A 1.6-liter turbocharged engine delivering 180 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque.
    • A 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 290 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque, available in the N Line performance variant.

Sonata’s Journey in Pakistan

The Sonata entered the Pakistani market in July 2021 and quickly gained popularity for its blend of luxury, performance, and affordability compared to imported competitors like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. With the facelift, Hyundai aims to solidify its position in the D-segment sedan category by offering a vehicle that combines cutting-edge technology with stylish design.
