The initial schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has been revealed, with the tournament expected to begin on February 19.
The opening ceremony is likely to take place in Karachi. The first match will be between Pakistan and New Zealand, scheduled to be held in Karachi on February 19. Pakistan’s second match is set for February 24, where they will face Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.

One of the most highly anticipated matches of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the Pakistan vs. India showdown, is scheduled for March 1 in Dubai. India’s journey in the Champions Trophy will kick off on February 20 with a match against Bangladesh, followed by a game against New Zealand on February 23, also in Dubai.
The newly revamped Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host its opening match on February 22, where Australia will face England. The schedule also includes Afghanistan taking on England on February 25 at Gaddafi Stadium. Australia will then face South Africa on February 26 in Rawalpindi, with Bangladesh and New Zealand clashing on February 27 in Lahore. Afghanistan will go up against Australia on February 28 in Rawalpindi.
The final group-stage game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will see South Africa battling England on March 2 in Rawalpindi, setting the stage for the semi-finals and final.
The first semi-final is slated for March 5, followed by the second on March 6, with the final set for March 9. As per the proposed schedule, both semi-finals are planned to take place in Pakistan. However, if India reaches the semi-finals and the final, these matches will be held in Dubai. Conversely, if India does not qualify for the semi-finals, the final will be hosted in Lahore.
