US President Joseph Biden has said he will not lift sanctions to bring Iran to the negotiating table.
Biden responded by saying that sanctions would be lifted if Iran stopped enriching uranium.
Earlier, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had said that Iran’s return to the nuclear deal would be possible only if US sanctions were lifted.
