Mandi Bahauddin police in an operation have arrested the two accused involved in the rape of a mentally handicapped girl from Bakhar and the other from Gujrat. IG Punjab had given the task of arresting the accused to DPO Mandi Bahauddin after the news circulating on social media.
The accused will be given severe punishments while completing the remaining stages of the investigation. Punjab Police Spokesperson told that IG Punjab Police has directed a zero-tolerance policy on incidents of violence, harassment, and abuse against women and children.
