Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has admitted that it is not the Corona wave but the Corona storm that has hit India.
In a radio address, Narendra Modi said that the Corona storm had shaken the nation.
He said that many Indian citizens had lost their lives prematurely.
It should be noted that another 352,000 cases of Corona were reported in India, bringing the total number to more than 17.3 million. Another 2,688 people were killed, bringing the death toll to more than 195,000.
The lockdown in the capital Delhi has been extended by a week. Bangladesh today announced the closure of its border with India.
