A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed between the Iranian Foreign Ministry on the opening of Border Market Places between Pakistan and Iran.
Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi on behalf of Pakistan and Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif on behalf of Iran signed the MoU.
According to the MoU, six trade centers will be opened in the “border areas” of Pakistan and Iran, on the border of Pakistan’s Balochistan province and Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province.
