Pakistan has been ranked the fourth most expensive country in the world due to the rising inflation, reported by The Economist.
Pakistan was placed fourth in the world in terms of inflation, out of 43 countries. In September, Pakistan’s inflation rate was reported to be at 9%.
In comparison, India’s inflation rate was 4.3 percent, putting the country in 16th place on the list of most expensive countries.
According to the research, Argentina has the highest inflation rate in the world, with a rate of 51.4 percent.
With a 19.6% inflation rate, Turkey comes in second, followed by Brazil with a 10.2% rate. Meanwhile Japan’s inflation rate is -0.4 percent.
