The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), a department under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD), is preparing to export both skilled and unskilled workers, including medical professionals, to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
According to an official source, medical professionals with the following qualifications and experience are eligible to apply:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent from a recognized institution (essential).
- Completion of HIMAA, ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS — Introductory Course (essential).
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant position, or experience as a processor/auditor of insurance claims in a similar health institution or insurance company (essential).
- Applicants must be under 50 years of age, with both male and female candidates eligible to apply.
For the construction sector, the OEC is accepting documents from interested candidates nationwide until December 18, 2024.
The OEC is already exporting skilled workers to approximately 40 countries worldwide.
Candidates can apply for the following positions:
- Laboratory Manager (LM): Applicants should have a BSc Engineering/B-Tech/Graduation/DAE Civil qualification and a minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant role. The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for overseeing laboratory staff, ensuring safety during operations, and supervising lab and field staff according to company policies and procedures.
- Laboratory Technician: Applicants should have a 3-year Diploma in Associate Engineering or a college degree in a science-related field. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for testing materials such as concrete, aggregate, soil, asphalt, and blocks.
