The promise made by the PTI government to provide 10 million jobs and 5 million houses now seems to be coming true. As the first house has been built in the capital Islamabad under the New Pakistan Housing Scheme.

The house has 4 bedrooms, attached washrooms, 2 TV lounges, a kitchen and a storeroom. This house is made of specially fabricated material. It has been constructed in 3 and a half marlas at a cost of only Rs. 3 million. The special design of this house consists of 2 floors.

As per the promise made by the PTI government, the remaining 49,99,999 houses are yet to be built. In this regard, project director Amir Zia says that the project used to build the house is completely environment friendly. Which has been imported from Korea.

Furthermore, Amir Zia added that the material has a 50-year guarantee that will protect its occupants from all kinds of weather effects for five decades. He said that this material is not endangered by termites, fire or water. The project director said that if a plant was set up in Pakistan for the construction of more such houses, 18,000 houses could be built in a year.

However, The Project Director New Pakistan Housing Scheme Amir Zia also said that apart from a 2-storey building from this material. We will start 3-storey building in the same style of an apartment building could also be constructed which could be constructed within 7 to 10 days for housing.
